Need a fun math activity to challenge your students during test prep? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to review 5th grade math standards (TEKS) while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to escape being locked in the classroom and their teacher's evil twin.

The escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The Mission
Your teacher’s evil twin has taken over your classroom. It’s up to you to free your teacher who is locked in the hidden basement of your school. To do so, you must decipher the codes of five locks. Solve the following problems and use the decoders to get through each lock and a step closer to saving your teacher. Good luck!
