Need a fun science activity to challenge your students? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to teach the 5th Grade Science TEKS while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to show their knowledge of the earth's changing surface to save their school from falling into a sinkhole. (See the mission below)
This escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The mission...
The earth under the school has slowly started to weather and erode. The school is at risk of falling into a sink hole and being swallowed up by the Earth. Save the school by completing the 5 stations and deciphering the codes to stop the erosion and replace the sediment and save the school. Good luck!
