Need a science activity way to challenge your students? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to teach the 5th Grade Science TEKS while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to show their knowledge of Earth's Rotation to send a group of aliens back to their home planet. (See the mission below)
This escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The mission...
A race of alien’s has taken over your classroom. They want to know more about the Earth and its rotation. It’s up to you to show them your knowledge on Earth’s rotation and get them to leave. Complete the five stations by answering the questions and deciphering the codes. Send the aliens back to their home planet far, far away.
