Need a fun science activity to challenge your students? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to teach the 5th Grade Science TEKS while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to show their knowledge of experimenting with forces by restoring the gravity in the school (see the mission below).
This escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The mission...
You find yourself floating in air, everything around you has begun floating. It seems that the amount of gravity has begun to slowly decrease. To stop it and return to normal, you must prove your knowledge on experiment with forces. Complete the 5 stations by answering the questions and using the decoders to decipher each code for the locks. You don’t have much time! Hurry!
