Need a fun math activity to challenge your students? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to review math standards while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to escape being locked in a classroom that is increasing in temperature (see the mission below).
The escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The mission...
Something has taken over your teacher. The classroom seems to be getting hotter and hotter. Your teacher says that the only thing that will return the room’s temperature to normal is you proving your knowledge of metric measurement. You must hurry to answer the questions to use the decode to unlock the locks and move to the next station. Once you are finished, the temperature will return to normal.
