What exactly is Tech Time?
Tech Time is an interactive game (Powerpoint/Google Slide) that allows teachers to use in a variety of ways to review key concepts and skills. “Tech” is my dog (pictured above) who has a wide-ranging level of emotions and facial expressions. Students can be grouped together or compete individually to earn or lose points to win the game.

What does this resource include? How do you play?
There are 20 questions on the key concept or skill. Students or groups answer questions by writing their answer down on a whiteboard or piece of paper. They also write down a number (1-13), which will give them a unique point value later. After every student or group has answered, they click to the next slide to see if they're correct. If they are, the next slide has 13 different Tech faces that students select the number they wrote to give them a point total. The point totals are anywhere from +100 to -50.

The point total values change with each question, so students have no idea how many points they will receive for a right answer. Also included are the directions and a score sheet to keep track if it’s completed in teams. There are both positive and negative point totals.

If you would like groups to complete each question, there is a copy of a Google Form in which they can submit their answers for each question. It is linked in the directions document.

This resource can be used for in-person learning or as a digital resource in the classroom. Use in a variety of ways, as a whole-class game with teams or small-groups/individuals doing battle one-on-one.

Make reviewing a fun, engaging activity that will leave students wanting more!
