Need a fun science activity to challenge your students? Look no further than this escape room activity. Escape rooms are a fun way to teach the 5th Grade Science TEKS while encouraging collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking. Students will work together to show their knowledge of weather and climate to help their disoriented teacher. (See the mission below)
The escape room contains 5 stations with 4 questions each station (20 questions total). Students must answer the 4 questions and use the decoder to decipher out the code. They type the codes into a Google Form to move onto the next station. The final page will give them a verification code to complete their escape.

The mission...
Your teacher has become disoriented and can’t remember the difference between weather and climate. They keep confusing the definitions. It is up to you to get them back to normal by completing the 5 stations and deciphering the codes. If you don’t fix this, you might get stuck in 5th grade forever!
